Johannesburg
- Media personality Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa is celebrating her victory after the Johannesburg High Court has ruled in her favour in its final ruling regarding her protracted divorce settlement against Grammy award-winning deep house music DJ Nkosinathi "Black Coffee" Maphumulo.

The court has declared that her customary marriage to the DJ was valid and in community of property.

The pair traditionally wedded in 2011 and a few years later had their western white wedding in 2017 and ultimately separated and divorced in 2019 per the Sunday World.

She took to Instagram recently to pen a heartfelt letter to her followers detailing the toll of "this ugly journey", thanking her mother for showing her support and her legal representatives over the victory.

"Today with great emotion I write this. I am officially Miss Mlotshwa.

"I'm so grateful for this ugly journey that gave me so many lessons. Today God has laid a table for me. I am so thankful to the people you see in this image. The lawyers, advocates and senior attorneys have pushed me and reminded me of the greatness I had in me. Reminded me how important it was to fight, most importantly for my children and more so for the rights of women in South Africa," she said.

The antenuptial contract that the pair signed in 2017 was declared null and void by the court, stating that Mlotshwa was misled and lacked legal advice at the time.

"The contract could not override the default property regime of their customary marriage," cited Jerry Nkeli Attorneys and Associates which represented Mlotshwa.

Black Coffee was ordered to pay spousal support to the actress in whom he shares two sons with; Anesu and Asante Maphumulo.
